We make golf bags for people who notice the small things on the course. The four chapters below explain why we make our bags this way, starting with a question about price.
I · The question
Why should you pay for things that are not even inside your bag?
With many premium golf bags, the price already includes advertising campaigns around the world and contracts with famous names. Looking at that price, it is hard to tell what the bag itself is worth.
Astro Golf began as a different answer to that question. We wanted to make a bag that works well on the course and looks good without showing off, then sell it at a price that only covers what is inside the bag.
II · Materials
We call the material by its real name.
Astro Golf bags are made of premium synthetic leather. We chose it because it lasts, handles water, wipes clean and keeps a sharp shape season after season.
We do not give it a grander name than it deserves, because you have the right to know exactly what you are paying for.
III · Restraint
We leave out anything that does not help your round.
Have you ever noticed how, when the whole group falls silent for a putt, the sound of a zip suddenly seems very loud? That is why The Spaceship has two pockets that close with magnets, so quietly that you can take out your rangefinder without anyone turning round.
The legs of The Astronaut spring out as the bag touches the ground and fold away as you lift it, so you never have to bend down between shots. The fifteen dividers of The Spaceship run the full length of the bag, so the shafts never rattle against each other on a bumpy cart path.

Astro Golf bags are for golfers who can tell a good product from a good advertising campaign. They like a tidy design where every detail has a reason to be there, and they want luxury without paying for a label.
